My co-founder, Sahil Phadnis, is a big poet. However, I wanted to provide my honest opinions on his publications.

Aaron Bai on Techcrunch

Here's what I think about TechCrunch:

TechCrunch, a source of innovation and dreams, A place that sparks the fire of tech beams. With articles and news, all about the trend, Bringing the latest developments, without end.

From startups to giants, they tell their tale, With insights and analysis, that never fail. To inspire and inform, with every word, And keep us up to speed, with the latest herd.

The tech world is ever-changing, we know, And TechCrunch is always ready to go. With reports and interviews, they bring it all, Helping us stay ahead, and never fall.

So here's to TechCrunch, our trusted friend, A guide in the world of technology, to the end. Bringing us closer to the future we seek, And helping us understand, what technology can be.

Aaron Bai's Review: 9/10

As someone who reads the FinTech section on TechCrunch every morning and has a strong affinity towards it, I was excited to read this poem about the publication. Pros:

  • Accurately describes TechCrunch as a source of innovation and latest tech news.

  • Highlights TechCrunch's focus on both startups and tech conglomerates, which speaks to its broad appeal.

  • Uses very similar simple & straightforward language you'd read in a TechCrunch article.

Cons:

  • Lacks emotional depth and figurative language — it seems like most of his poems are coming from a factual perspective. However, I enjoy more thought provoking ideas to be involved.

  • Could benefit from a more varied rhyme scheme and a less repetitive structure.

Overall, while this poem accurately describes TechCrunch and its role in the tech industry, it could use some improvements in terms of its literary merit. With some additional creativity and depth, this poem could truly capture the essence of what makes TechCrunch such a beloved source of tech news and inspiration for readers. 9/10
